We have buses that bring the children to camp on the morning of each session and bring them back at the end of each session. Our buses leave from and arrive at President Street at the corner of Kingston Avenue in the heart of Crown Heights. Parents who want to drop off and pick up their son directly to and from camp can choose the option when registering online.

The suggested amount of money for canteen is $75 per session. You can add money to your son’s canteen account when signing up online or by sending cash with your son to camp and have him give it to his counselor, which will be deposited into his canteen account.

The camp office will send your son’s bunk information at the beginning of each session. You can email your son through our website using your son’s division and bunk number. The main office in camp distributes the emails once a day. Please limit your emails to one email a week per camper.

Every bunk has calling time once a week, and campers are encouraged to call their parents.
Calling days differ depending on your son’s bunk schedule. Due to the many trips and changes in schedule, calling days may change occasionally. Generally, we do not have calling times during the first week of each session to help campers adjust more easily.

Parents can order a birthday cake, which will be presented in front of the entire camp in the dining room and enjoyed by his bunk with a birthday celebration. Mazal Tov!

Camp hires a company to do laundry throughout the summer. Your son will need enough changes to last for eight days, as the laundry is done once a week. Your son’s counselors will assist in sorting the laundry by colors and whites. The laundry will be picked up and returned to the bunkhouse freshly cleaned the next day. Every item sent to camp should be properly labeled, as any unlabeled clothing cannot be sorted.

In the event of an urgent matter or if you have not received a timely response from the head staff, we kindly request that you contact the camp office. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Camp is a place for boys to feel equal to their peers, with everyone living in the same bunkhouses and enjoying the same activities. Since we do not have trips to the store, they can enjoy and be happy with what they have in the present moment.
To promote this healthy environment, we do not accept packages in camp, including Amazon, Walmart, and Instacart deliveries, and packages that arrive at camp will not be given out.
In addition to our nutritious meals, camp has a fully stocked canteen which your son can order from every day.

Can my son receive private tutoring to help prepare him for his Bar Mitzvah?2024-05-07T22:41:31+00:00

If you would like to arrange private tutoring for your son, please contact the camp office, and they will forward your request to your son’s head staff, who will do their best to assist you in finding the right staff member to hire as your son’s tutor. Please note that there is no guarantee that tutoring can be arranged. In addition, please bear in mind that tutoring will not occur during regular learning classes but rather during night activities or on Shabbos. We strongly recommend not relying on camp time for Bar Mitzvah learning, as the boys are busy during the day. To avoid a stress-free experience for you and your son, we recommend preparing your son before sending him to camp.

Camp has designated visiting days, during which parents are encouraged to come and visit their children. For safety reasons, any unauthorized visitors will be turned away on days not designated for visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If a parent plans on coming for visiting day, it is best to give the tip directly while expressing appreciation to the staff members involved. In addition, the camp office will send out an email with your son’s staff payment information so you can send tips directly to them. Tipping suggestions per session are for each Counselor $50, the Learning teacher $45, and the Waiter $40.
