Visiting Day is a special opportunity for parents and families to spend meaningful time with their sons and experience the warm and vibrant atmosphere of CGI Chayolei. We encourage families to visit our beautiful campgrounds and see where your son is living, learning, and growing throughout the summer. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this memorable day together!

On Visiting Day, our canteen, gym, game room, petting zoo, and swimming pool are open for our families to enjoy!

If you are unable to attend, please notify the camp office in advance so that your son’s counselor can give him some extra attention and make him feel special.

Visiting Policy

Camp has designated visiting days, during which parents are encouraged to come and visit their children. For safety reasons, any unauthorized visitors will be turned away on days that are not designated for visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable visiting day, please keep to our visiting day policies:

  • Visiting will only be allowed during the designated time slot of 2-7 PM.
  • Please ensure that your son returns by 7 PM to keep to our campers routine. In case of unexpected delay, kindly notify the camp office immediately.
  • To maintain a Chassidishe atmosphere, we do not allow girls over Bas Mitzvah age on the campgrounds. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.
  • Please use the visitor’s parking lot only, located on the south side of camp. We do not allow any cars on camp grounds.
  • Please ensure that your children are with you at all times.
  • We suggest avoiding bringing heavy packages, as some bunkhouses are far from the parking lot.
  • For safety reasons, lighting any fires in camp, including cigarettes, sparklers, fireworks, BBQs, and bonfires is strictly prohibited.

Staff Appreciation

Visiting Day is a meaningful opportunity to personally thank the dedicated staff members who care for and support your son throughout the summer. Many parents choose to express their appreciation with a tip, accompanied by a few sincere words of thanks, which are always deeply meaningful to our staff.

If you plan on attending Visiting Day, tips may be given directly to the staff members involved. For parents who are unable to attend, the camp office will email you your son’s staff payment information so that tips can be sent directly to them.

As a general guideline, the suggested appreciation amounts per session are: $50 for each Counselor, $45 for the Learning Teacher, and $40 for the Waiter. These amounts are optional and are provided as a reference to help parents who wish to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of their son’s staff.
